Luxury Train Tour

Train travel has a mystic all its own and many of them simply offer a special luxury train tour for those who care to partake in the atmosphere of it all. These are specific tours that cater, usually to the well to do, and therefore, rest assured that they are not cheap. But, if one can enjoy and afford these luxuries, then, why not? Lets take a closer look at some of these rather expensive train rides and explore what they have to offer.

Lets begin with probably the most famous train ride of all, The Orient Express. This train has routes that include cities such as Budapest, Istanbul, Paris, Prague, Rome, and Venice. Of course, this is simply the European version. There is also the Asian version which includes the cities of Singapore and Bangkok too. Both of these rail lines offer exquisite amenities. Lets consider one from each specific line.

Lets consider the Venice to Prague to Paris run. This allows one to enjoy getting as well as being there. They offer fine food, wonderful service, and beautiful European landscapes along the way. This specific train line has been offering passenger travel since eighteen eighty three and continues to this day. By taking this specific ride, one will certainly have the ability to enjoy three of Europe's most famous cities. They offer private compartments which has both hot and cold water, a wash basin, and a sofa. These quickly convert into a bedroom for nighttime. The dining car offers gourmet meals which are included in the fare. Some, of which include caviar as well as smoked salmon. However, drinks will be your responsibility. There is also a bar car and a boutique for fashion gift purchasing.

The Asian version offers relatively the same amenities however, the cuisine is different and this version caters to the wonderful architecture that surrounds the far east.

The Trans-Siberian Express offers the longest journey of them all. Five and four star hotel nights will be spent in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinberg, Novosibirsk, Ulan Ude, and Vladivostok. See things such as Opera Houses and Lenin Square. The Romanov execution site is a highlight of this trip and includes much history of Nicholas II.

On this side of the world, the Royal Canadian Pacific offers views of the Rocky Mountains with overnight stays in various cities along the way. They offer golf outings, private cheese and wine tasting, and ferry cruises along the way. This is the opportunity to explore mountains and glaciers in one swift swoop.

As mentioned earlier, these trips are quite exquisite as well as expensive. Minimum costs would be in the five thousand dollar range and go up from there. However, when one is considering a luxury train tour that caters especially to this taste, would you expect anything less?
